22 Weeks Old - Happy Easter!

Another week over. I can't believe how fast time is flying by with this little one. We had such a good week last week with him sleeping through the night, but he is done with that! :) This week was a little rougher. There were a few nights that he was just up for a few hours. He and mommy slept in the guest bed 2 nights. We think that it is his teething that is getting the best of him. His bottom two teeth are going to be the first ones to come in and the little bulge on the right has gotten bigger in the past couple of days. He's a trooper though. For most of the day, he is fine. He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. But, I think when he is tired and they start hurting, he just wants to be held and soothed. Don't think that we are mean parents and don't give him anything, we do. Tylenol and thank goodness for teething tablets. They do a great job until the Tylenol is able to kick in.
His face, head and the rest of his skin has cleared up nicely. Just a few flakes here and there, but not nearly as bad as it was. We're not really using the ointment anymore either. Just a little olive oil in his bath, some Aquaphor when he gets out and he has been doing great. He had a little break out the other day, but we're not sure if it was the carrots that we fed him the night before (and no, he didn't seem to like them) or if it was from heat and him being really upset right before I picked him up at daycare. But, it cleared up that evening, so we'll see.
He has been sitting up, playing with toys and just being a great little guy! He will roll around in circles to get to things and it is so funny to see where he ends up when you lay him down. He is trying so hard to crawl. He will scootch up on his knees and rock back and forth. It won't be long until he figures out his arms and then we are really in for it.
Today, we went and took pictures with a local photographer. It is part of a baby club package, but I wasn't on the ball to get him at 3 months, so she took some pictures now and then we'll go back at 6, 9 and 12 months. She was great with him and he had so much fun. He was smiling and giggling the whole time. I can't wait to see the pictures, I don't think there was a bad one in the bunch.
We are hosting Easter on Sunday. Eric's dad, sister and brother are coming over. It will be nice to have everyone over, but that means that I have to get busy tomorrow and clean house!
Enjoy the pictures and have a Happy Easter!
