35 Weeks Old - Happy 4th of July!

Well, it has taken me a few extra days to get the blog up. This week has just been so crazy. Seems like there hasn't been any time for anything. Not many pictures taken and not a very interesting blog this week. Max is feeling tons better. Everything has cleared up except for the thrush. Not sure what is keeping that from going away, but we keep giving him the medicine and wiping everything down every night. He has a total of 5 teeth now and it looks like 1 or 2 more might cut this next week. He continues to explore and pull himself up on everything. He is starting to try to balance and he even counters himself when he starts to fall sometimes. Once he gets that whole balance thing down, it won't be long until he is taking steps. I can't believe my little baby is 8 months old already. We went to visit some friends who just had a little boy 3 weeks ago. He was so tiny and it was hard to remember when Max was that small. I think he grows a few inches every night. Looking at him in his bed, I wonder when he got so big. He is loving his peas. We tried some diced carrots and apples this week. He wasn't very excited about either one of those things, but we'll keep trying different foods. I have my first overnight without Max this week. I am going to be in Wisconsin for work, so Max and Daddy will be on their own for a night. I'm a little nervous...I know they'll be fine, but I just don't want to be away. I'm sure we'll all survive just fine. We'll try to take more pictures this week and I will be better about getting the blog up on time next week!
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
